Smelter is a crafting station acquired in late-game which looks similar to the Research Bench, and, as its name suggests, is used solely for smelting metal. The most valuable thing is alloys. Besides smelter craft shaped metal much faster than the firepit.
The amount of materials produced per gasoline: 13x shaped metal / 4x alloys / 2x shaped uranium
Smelter need Gasoline to work.
The Smelter, when placed. When fueled, it vibrates rapidly and the light in the lower right corner turns orange.
