Summary[]
The Sawed Off Shotgun does the most amount of damage in a single shot. Total damage is 145, with each bullet dealing 28 damage - a total of 5 bullets per shot. It is great at the element of surprising other players, and it is somewhat ammo conservative, somewhere between a sniper and an AK47. It can be upgraded from a shotgun. However, it also has the lowest range out of all weapons.
Tips Using The Sawed Off[]
The sawed off can kill an unarmored player in exactly 2 shots, if all pellets are landed. Because of that, it is very good for surprising other players and suddenly start shooting them. However since it has a very short range, it will be hard to kill a running player. Because of that, it is highly recommended to have a second weapon with a long range, such as a AK47 or Sniper. The sawed off is also very good against ghouls, as it can one shot a Fast Ghoul and a Explosive Ghoul, and two shot any other ghoul that isn't an Armored Ghoul. You can also kill Armored Ghouls at day with this gun, and still be able to make more ammo from the alloys you get from them than the amount of ammo you'll use.
Tips Against a Player With The Sawed Off[]
The biggest disadvantage of the sawed off is it's range. You can easily kill any player who has it with even a 9MM if you stay out of their range, or if they waste too much ammo not hitting you. Even if you are close enough where they can hit you, try to stay further back, so only some pellets will be able to hit you. Try to avoid them in places where there is a lot of cover, as they can peek around corners and get a full blast on you.
