Don't blame me. Savaging is actually very importanat for success. Think if you wanted clothing then you could just force unsuspecting people into giving you their stuff. Savaging is a fun easy way to get good quickly I myself love to do this and the reason is that: Many people don't know what you have and you that to your advantage. You also gain experience! However, killing others also gives you bad karma which can decrease your XP multiplier to be as low as just 20% of the original, so if you're looking just for the XP or if you're doing a highscore, it's not worth it.

One time my friend and I ( Speroni was his name he's on this wiki ) were savaging people into death or for their stuff. And so he was doing and got some basic clothing. Good steal. However we both were greedy and kept savaging until we both died and lost all of our stuff.

This is actually impossible to really get and has some very fictional stuff but you get the idea of savaging.

There are two ways to savage someone. One by gathering a team and attacking ( this is great because there are many trees in the way and they will be caught and killed easily. And two you can trap them in their base. The team strategy can be easily countered by bringing wooden walls with you, the trapping one is countered by using hammers or placing wooden floors before your doors.

Note: Many players will do this to you to so be warned.

Note: This is a frowned upon way to get stuff and can often back fire, also be aware that the very second you start savaging you become an easy target for peacekeepers and revengers.

Note: If everyone is savaging and no one is crafting the game becomes stale, also tons of players will be mad at you for savaging, so be generous and give the spare items to new players to ease the tension, they will thank you for it.

Note: Usually the best targets are unnameds with tools above metal tier or the ones with a wooden bow, for some reason they usually always have a gun with 0 ammo in it and are the easiest and most valuable targets.

Note: 99% of the time savaging isn't worth it.
