Energy Cells are an endgame item and are used for the powering of energy weapons (Laser Weapons) and Tesla Benches. To craft this item you need 1 Alloy + 1 Shaped Uranium, and it must be crafted on a Tesla Bench, which costs Energy Cells to operate. This item is not automatically unlocked, so you need level 6 or higher, and it costs 1 skill point. These energy cells are found in cities, usually in or around houses made of Metal Walls. Also known as Factories, sometimes found in Christmas Houses (houses with gingerbread walls).

The fact that is called "Small Energy Cells" may suggest that there may be a future update
where we have access to Large, Or Medium sized Energy Cells.
