Note: "Modmin" is a term that refers to both mods and admins, and used in context as whoever cast the command. It will be used frequently on this page.
Commands are special statements that will complete tasks when inputted.
Overview[]
Commands can only be used by moderators and administrators in private servers. They are used to complete tasks and can be used to edit your server. All commands can be viewed at https://devast.io/commands
Admin account[]
The admin account is accessible only by people have been given the admin password or have somehow attained it- try not to share the password if you can help it, since you cannot change it if a griefer/abuser gets hold of it. Unless there are issues, the admin password, IP server, and port will be give to you via email after you purchase a server, after a certain amount of time. The format of the admin link is: https://devast.io/?ips=IP_SERVER&port=YOUR_PORT&admin=1,
but usually the port is not needed.
PIDs[]
PIDs, or Player Identities, are an important part of commands and will play big parts in many. It follows this format: #PID. Remember that the The PID is generally only viewable as a modmin (though there are exceptions). The PID appears at the right of a player's name, except when it is too long, in which it is placed on the left (this is generally an issue with Arabic letters). They are generally useful for !teleport-to= and !teleport-to-me=, but they also have other uses as well.
Formatting[]
All commands must start with '!', or else the command will not register. Like any message, you need to press enter to open the chat box and add your command in it to input it into the server. The command will then be showed to you, but not to anyone else- do note that anything that starts with "!" will not show to others, whether it is a valid command or not. You can add multiple commands in one text: for instance, !item=ak47!item=bullet_sniper
will give you both an AK47 and heavy bullets. You can also add spaces between each command, but all of them will still register- they will clump together without spaces when showing you the command you inputted, however, whether or not the command was successful.
Item IDs[]
Item IDs are similar to PIDS as they are used in multiple commands. They are the universal command IDs for items. Though the main uses are for !item= and !item-all=, there are many other important uses as well, whenever an item is concerned. They can be viewed here: http://devast.io/commands/#item
List of Commands[]
Most of the commands are basic and uncomplicated, but some are more complex than others.
Spawn Items[]
If you want to spawn items use this command, for example:
!item=desert_eagle
