Items are the essential feature in devast.io that allow a player to survive the harsh environments and other hostile players.

Items are the primary means of surviving. The game contains a wide variety of items, ranging from woven clothing to protective walls. Items can be researched and crafted using various crafting tables. For completeness, this page will also include player upgrades (enhanced vision and enhanced carrying capacity), as well as gathered resources (e.g. wood, rock, meat), and rotten food.
