This is a general strategy for surviving the first two nights. As most experienced players know, the Ghouls start attacking the player after two nights, or 16 minutes. By that time, you should have a full base up. This is my strategy, and it isn't too hard.
Step one:
You log into the game. If it is night, you should focus on making a campfire. Punch a tree to get an hatchet, then while the hatchet is crafting, try to get 30 wood. Switch to the hatchet and get five wood, then start crafting your campfire. While the campfire is crafting, get some more wood while walking around, trying to find food. Place down the campfire, put some wood in, and warm up a bit, cooking any steak you have. Once you have warmed up enough, walk around, trying to find food, until you are cold. Repeat this process until you have 120 wood and 30 stone. Once the night is over, or this has occurred, make your way to the corner, taking any food you find. Once you are in the corner you can make a workbench, put it down, and make a pickaxe. While the pickaxe is crafting, look for some more food, gathering stone on the way. Pick up the pickaxe, and start mining until you have 200 stone. Make 9 stone walls, and one stone door, and make sure you unlock these items. Count out the correct numbers of placement, and make sure you place the door correctly (they are mysterious things). You should be able to accomplish this in a day and a night, making this an easy two night strategy.
